The annual Milson Rotary charity golf tournament was held recently at the Manawatu Golf Course.
The proceeds from this popular tournament were this year donated to the Manawatu Diabetes Trust.
The Diabetes Trust is a Charitable Trust that serves the people of the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. They also support youth and their families in Whanganui.
The Manawatu, Horowhenua, and Tararua Diabetes Trust was established in early 2000. Contracted by MidCentral DHB, provide FREE education and youth services to people with diabetes and their families/whanau.
Their aim is to improve the health and well-being of people with diabetes in the MidCentral DHB region. They are committed to helping people get the knowledge, support, and confidence they need to lead healthy, happy lives and prevent diabetes-related complications
